Making a school scrapbook is a superb idea and a hot subject for many scrapbooking fans. This is probably because most people’s college years helped define them into the individual they are right now through all the drama, events, pals, awards and punishments.

With school being such a fundamental part of what shaped you to be the person you are today, it’s significant that you capture those feelings in your album. On top of this, many schools send parents many great scrapbooking materials, on an almost scheduled basis.

Firstly, most schools have a newsletter that gets sent out on a consistent basis. If there is a important event that went on in class, it will be covered in the newsletter. New buildings, huge awards and sport teams winning will always be covered in newsletters. So be certain to cling to them for your school scrapbook.

College diaries are also another useful source of material. In them you might find catalogues of homework, notices from teachers to elders, your ( or your child’s ) doodles and doodles and so on.
